Our story
Your local one-stop shop for all things hardware to home — serving the Cissna Park area for generations.
Knapp & Steiner Hardware is your local one-stop shop for all things hardware to home. Our store has been serving the Cissna Park area for generations, providing dependable tools, supplies and everyday essentials for homes, farms and local businesses. As a locally owned and family-run store, we take pride in offering friendly service and honest guidance.
History
Our building at 114 S 2nd St in Cissna Park has been Knapp & Steiner since 1953. In 2024, Do It Best acquired True Value, making Knapp & Steiner a True Value / Do It Best store. When our family bought the store in 2025, we became the fourth owners of this local favorite — and we're proud to continue the tradition.
